The Ultimate Berry Yogurt Bowl

A refreshing, quick breakfast bowl that you can always make in advance of your busy day. This is a great alternative to the traditional breakfast like cereal, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal…. The list could go on and on.

I had to transform my traditional yogurt bowl due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

I ordered groceries and when I asked for Strawberries I received a notification that is was substituted. I’m like okay that’s fine, it’s probably a bigger container than I asked or worse case scenario a different berry (blueberry, blackberry or raspberry maybe) NOPE how about oranges. HAHA I’m like hmm well I guess that will be a good option for a snack throughout the day but not sure how that would be in a yogurt bowl.

Having to improvise I came up with a super easy and delicious alternative!

A refreshing, quick breakfast bowl that you can always make in advance of your busy day.

Ingredients

  • 1-1.5 Cup Vanilla Yogurt (I like Siggis brand)
  • 1 Cup Frozen Berry Mixture (Blackberries, Raspberries and Blueberries)
  • Splash of Milk (I use Almond)
  • 1/2 Cup Granola (Blueberry Purely Elizabeth is delicious)
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Tablespoons Hemp Hearts
  • 2 Teaspoons Chia Seeds
  • Drizzle of Honey

Instructions

In Blender add yogurt, frozen berries, and milk. Blend till smooth

Pour yogurt mixture into 2 bowls and top with granola, banana, hemp hearts, chia seeds and honey
